What do you guys think of the Favre situation. I'm surprised that Green Bay didn't welcome him back with open arms. I hope he plays somewhere this
year. He put himself in this situation with the flip-floppin but he's a guy you can't help but root for. The fans may string up the owner if he lets
him go!! It would be odd to see him in another uniform tho.

I just can't believe that the pats are 11-5 and are the outside looking in. Farve seems to have the support of the team's owner and GM. I can't
imagine Bill Cowher agreeing to coach that team unless he is given total control of the team's personnel. It looks like yet another rebuilding program for
the jets.

It seems Farve didn't deliver the championship that the NY writers were glowing about only one month ago. Now, of course, he's a bum. Although, I would
have to say that he looked like crap the last month. It was just so funny hearing the press rave about him and the Jets last month, predicting an all NY
superbowl. Now that the Jets have collapsed ( again ), and that Mangini is taking the hit, the question is who will coach the team, and who will be the
quarterback. Judging by some of the comments of the players, there seems to be some resentment about the fact that Farve missed training camp with his whole
will he or won't he routine, and they seem resentful that the coach was thrown under the bus while Farve will enter another off-season of questions of his
future.

I can't see the Giants repeating, but then again, I also said they weren't going past the first round of the playoffs last year, so my track record
regarding predictions is shaky at best. I just think that the off-season banquet circuit combined with the difficulty in repeating, plus the contract haggling
will work against them. An off-season in NYC with everybody kissing your ass can be a big distraction to any team. I do think that getting rid of shockey is a
big plus. A classic example of addition by subtraction. That move alone will make them a better TEAM.

right, what was he trying to save money off his phone bill???? WST is in D.C. figured their was a few Skins fans here. I liked some of those old
teams,Riggins,Theisman(before he became an imbecile). I hear ya, whats a little murder???no big thing!!!!! he aint the only hood on that team tho. Camp has
started, season is right around the corner! Giants repeat or what???

I'm neither a skins or a ravens fan. What do you have against their linebacker? Just because he was an accessory to a murder doesn't make him a bad
person (LOL!) This whole Farve thing is developing a life of its own. Now it appears that he was using a Packer team issued cell phone to try to negotiate with
the vikings. Talk about dumb. He couldn't find a pay phone or a land line to call from? Sometimes I wonder about some of these so-called superstars--it
just seems that they do some super-stupid things.

him to return. The nearest thing to a win-win: The team can move on, and Farve can still play ( somewhere).

It's sad that a great career is going to come down to something like this. It does seem like a shame that the Packers don't seem to want him back, but
I can see where the team is coming from. For the past few years, all you've heard during the offseason is "Will he or won't he come back?" I
can see where the team would want to move on and plan for the future. You can't have your star player waffling about whether or not he is going to play. He
is not bigger than the team ( even though he is sometimes made out to be that way.) And how can your teammates look to your star for leadership if he is always
contemplating whether or not he wants to play? I was kind of hoping he would stick to his guns and stay retired. Why not go out when you still have something
left in the tank, rather than risk being one of those guys who stick around for too long?
