        <![CDATA[ Has anybody followed the story of Caleb Campbell?  He is the football player who played at Army and was drafted by the Detroit Lions.  The Army originally made
a special exception for him to allow him to play pro football.  Just recently the Army changed its mind and now is going to have him report for duty overseas.

My opinion is that he should have never been given special treatment in the first place.  He was aware of his military commitment the first day he entered West
Point.  In exchange for an education at a prestigious school, he would serve five years in the US Army.  The fact that he was a talented football player should
have nothing to do with it.  The mission of West Point is to train future Army officers, not pro football players.  Back in the 60s, Roger Staubach was one of
the best players in the country, and, after graduating from Navy, he served his five years in the Navy.  Yes, he lost years off his football career, but he
honored his commitment.  And,... ]]></description>
