Dr. Ken's old newsletter is gonna get reprinted and offered by John Wood at functional hand strength. Great newsletter Hardgainer-ish type of writing.
Anything by the good Dr. is GOOD.

I have a bunch of copies of the Steel Tip. When I trained at Iron Island, Dr. Ken was kind enough to let me have a bunch of back issues, and I placed them in a
binder. They are worth their weight in gold, as far as I'm concerned. I agree with you JGriff, anything by Dr. Ken is definitely good. I only wish it was
still being published. BTW, John Wood's sites are all excellent. His products are great, and his service is fantastic. I highly recommend visiting his
sites and purchasing his products.

You will enjoy it. Much better than the bs you'll find in the muscle rags.

I've never been one for muscle rags or their style of training. I've been a Dino style lifter for more than 20yrs. This is definately a nice add to my training library though.

I have all the originals. Is he offering the whole collection all at once or one by one?

It would be great if Dr. Ken brought back the Steel Tip. Anyway, JGriff, if you have the originals, then you probably won't need to buy the bound collection. I keep mine in a binder, and the information is as useful today as it was twenty years ago.
Hey Aaron welcome to the forum. I think you'll enjoy the forum, and I know you'll enjoy The Steel Tip. |

I almost forgot about HIT newsletter. Another source of quality information-------I wish these publications had never stopped. People training today have no idea what they are missing in terms of useful training info. The muscle rags have always been around ( and always will) but at least up until ten years ago you had the quality magazines/newsletters you mentioned. Those who knew better could differentiate between the good and the bs. Now, without any good stuff out there to counter-balance the garbage, people will be even more likely to buy whatever the rags are selling.

If you took one single edition of those publications I mentioned, there is more useful information than 2-3 years worth (probably more) of a mainstream muscle mag
