I meant to post something about this the other day on another thread but I will post it separately. The other day after finishing my entire workout in the
power rack ( consisting of snatches, OH squats. high pulls, push presses, cleans etc), as a finisher I went and did a few sets of one arm DB snatches with
90lbs. I think I just did two sets of 10. The Puerto Rican soldier who was doing slow one arm rows with the 90lbers asked me " What do those work?" I
was hot sweaty and ready to go hoem and eat so I just shrugged and said " Everything" and walked away. This attitude ( his, not mine) is indicative
of how the bodypart mentality has permeated the idea of "working out". Apparently in his mind you do an exercise to develop a certain body part.
Ah...life is so much easier when you do your own thing! haha
