big time reality slap for the Patriots last night.Not even in the same league as the Saints!!! How about Colts vs Saints in the Super Bowl both undefeated
goin in???? Although remember 2001 when the Rams made the Pats look bad in the regular season then the Super Bowl came...............

I was kind of surprised by the game. I think it was just a matter of the Saints looking strong. The pats will be in the thick of it. The Saints will be hard to
beat- especially at home. It would be very interesting to see the Colts vs. Saints with both undefeated going into the superbowl. What will Shula/Griese/Csonka
and the rest of the '72 Dolphins do? Will they root for a tie? This is a big dilemma. But there's still a lot of time before we have to think about
that scenario possibly playing out, but it would be great.

The guys from the 72 Dolphins will probably hope for Armageddon before that!!! I look at the remaining schedule for both teams,its a real possibility. Barring
injuries to key guys. Then who knows in the playoffs,but there is only one team that looks like they have a chance with the Saints (Minnesota) and only 2-3
with the Colts.Should be interesting anyway

I can't talk--Pittsburgh was beaten by the raiders. They're done too. The jets won and might even sneak in because of a favorable schedule. The giants
have a tough game this week with philly. If they can pull out a win, they will be back in the thick of it.

I still don't believe that the Jets can beat the Patriots out of the division. But boy is there something wrong in Foxboro!!!!!!!! there seems to be a
little "changing of the guard" this year with the exception of Indy. should be some good playoff games,alotta parody except the Saints and Indy

Even the saints had to sweat out an ot victory. You hit the nail on the head---parity/ parody. I think Indy is the most impressive team so far. Imagine, the
jets in contention for the division. But there still is plenty of time for them to screw it up for themselves, and if the past is any indication, they might
very well do just that.

And then there were none. Shula and Co. can raise a glass and rest easy. Thanks to the dolts, er, I mean the colts believing that losing a game late in the
year will help them win a super bowl, there will be no chance of a team going undefeated. I can't imagine what takes place in the mind of a coach who plays
not to win. I couldn't imagine Shula, or Lombardi giving away a game, especially when you have a chance to make history. I hope it comes back to bite them
in the butt. And I would love for the Jets to make the playoffs and knock off the colts.

that was pitiful wasn't it? You could see the disappointment in the players faces. Like you said, how can that help? If they tank next week then get a buy
that will be a month since they won a game???? going into the playoffs??? seems stupid to me, but we shall see. I hope the Patriots wail on the Jets in the
playoffs---startin to hate that coach of theirs. I think San Diego looks like the team right now. Minn,Saints,even Colts don't look as invincible as they
did a few weeks ago

The whole idea of just packing it in is disgusting. Why not try to win every game? You're a professional, that's what you're paid to do. They
certainly get paid enough money to play a full season. Shula wouldn't give up a game. Nor would a coach like Red Auerbach. The other day, they played their
starters for one series, so that manning could complete a swing pass so that his receiver could reach a personal milestone. What a chickensh-- thing to do. I
hope they get throttled in the playoffs. I think the chargers look strong now, too. The pats will always be in the thick of it. As for the jets, they took
advantage of the situation to get into the playoffs. Ryan may be a bit of a blowhard ( like father, like son) but his players respond to him....for now. As for
the giants, they should ALL be ashamed. They quit, just like they did a few years ago for Fassel.

The stage is set for the jets to play the team who allowed them to get into the playoffs. It would be great if the jets, who only made the playoffs because the
colts purposely gave away their game with them, can pull off the upset. That would be just great. I can't think of a better result, although it does appear
to be a bit of a long shot, but I will be rooting for the jets.

Good point Jim I didn't even think of that. I was pullin for them to beat San Diego I must admit. Hellof a defense thats for sure. Colts will be too much
for them I believe,but who knows. Should be two good games anyway

I think the defense will keep it close, but I just think that sanchez is due to make a rookie mistake and the colts will capitalize. But, boy, it would be nice
to see the jets beat the team that laid down.

I can't warm up to Rex Ryan for some reason but they are the only underdog left in the fight. Not very often do you see both #1 seeds make the bowl so you
may see somethin happen Sunday. gonna be exciting games,may even be better than superbowl sunday. In some ways I think the Jets may match up better against the
NFC winner. I say Colts over Saints in the Bowl.

The New York media, as you can probably guess, has made rex out to be Vince Lombardi/Don Shula/Curly Lambeau/Knute Rockne all rolled into one. He's a bit
of a blowhard, but his players believe in him. He can sure coach defense. I'm sure if the jets get blown out, the media will second-guess him from now
until training camp opens. How about the jets versus the vikes? farve going up against his old team.

HE/THEY have produced and a win Sunday and they have a right to boast, regardless if they win the big one or not. Some of Ryan's cockiness can be excused

I'm sure it is a New York thing. Win a few games and EVERYBODY is on the bandwagon. Had they not made the playoffs ( thank you colts!) everybody would be talking about the "same old jets." Wait 'till next year---if they lose a few games or stumble everybody will be calling for him to be fired. But, then, rex doesn't seem to care- which is kind of refreshing.
