I wasn't impressed. He had to come clean ( finally ) because he was hired by the cards. What he offered was the same old lame-ass excuses: he took them to recover from injuries, he still would have hit 70 homers without the sauce, blah, blah, blah. It takes courage to come clean, yes, but what about what Maximum Bob says---instead of praising someone who comes clean, what about praise for those who had the guts to have never used them. I don't buy it. However, at least it was better than what we got from bonds, sosa, and clemens. And I could have done without the water works. Boo hoo.

The huge list of athletes who've come up dirty. I wonder how many dirty athletes there would be if steroids did work.
