I wasn't impressed. He had to come clean ( finally ) because he was hired by the cards. What he offered was the same old lame-ass excuses: he took them to
recover from injuries, he still would have hit 70 homers without the sauce, blah, blah, blah. It takes courage to come clean, yes, but what about what Maximum
Bob says---instead of praising someone who comes clean, what about praise for those who had the guts to have never used them. I don't buy it. However, at
least it was better than what we got from bonds, sosa, and clemens. And I could have done without the water works. Boo hoo.

The huge list of athletes who've come up dirty. I wonder how many dirty athletes there would be if steroids did work.

Now he has a vague recollection of what he took. He also says it may have helped him. Memory is a funny thing. It's strange how users recover their memory
when they are confronted with facts/witnesses who contradict their lies. Who knows? Maybe sosa will regain his ability to speak English someday.

I wish somebody would. The sad part is baseball looked the other way when this was all going down. And now selig is proclaiming that baseball is clean---what a
joke. But, unfortunately, many people believe it.

Baseball didn't anticipate EVERYONE of them getting caught dead or admitting it like this. So they will now be forced to do something to restore the old
records. they were hoping there would be some shadow of doubt as to wether or not ARod and Mcgwire did it and hoped everyone would eventually accept that
"maybe they didn't use roids"but thats dead and gone now. Great article in the Boston Herald today. Interview with Carlton Fisk. Boy,he pulls no
punches, says exactly what he thinks about these guys (using names also). Old school tough guy there

I always liked Fisk. Even though I was a Thurman Munson fan growing up, I always admired the way he played, as well as his longevity. He certainly was
dedicated. I also liked that he took a piece out of deion sanders when sanders played with the yankees. This was a while back, sanders popped up and didn't
even bother to run to first base, and Fisk took him to task. My admiration for him grew even greater that day.
