Well like he said they weren't being used with strength and size as the goal but rather recovery. They played hard ball back in the day. I imagine the type
and amounts he used were a pin drop compared to the crap in the veins today.

I couldn't get the article to come up,I'll go to it off the forum. I know there were more than a few guys on those teams back then using, so its not
hard to believe the QB dabbled. He certainly was a little nuts! I remember that!

I couldn't get the article to come up either. So bradshaw admitted to using junk?? He was naturally big to begin with. He was about the size of many
linemen when he came up. Plus he had a cannon for an arm. And, according to stories and articles, a pea for a brain. I never knew what to think of him-- it
always seemed to me that his "aw shucks, good ol' boy persona" was contrived and phony. With his physical tools and the talent surrounding him,
how much more "assistance" could he have possibly needed? And, I agree, what they were using back then is nothing compared to the huge amounts these
days. I'll try again to get the article to come up, and read the whole thing.
