I don't really follow pro hoops much either, but from what I've seen and heard, I think he is at or near the top of a very big list of spoiled athletes. I could never understand why someone with as much talent would have to be such a complete jerk, but there are a LOT of such players/athletes out there. The problem is that nobody is willing/able to tell them to shut the f--- up and play. And the media constantly kissing their asses only adds to the problem.

Hey Jgriff, that was some game six. I didn't see the whole game, but what a total ass-kicking! There can be no possible shadow of a doubt as to who the better team was. The only drawback would be the fact that Red Auerbach is not around to enjoy the Celtics back on top. I guess victory parades through the streets of Boston must be getting old by now????

Don't worry about the patriots-- they will be back. They will definitely be back before the Giants. It's only a few months, but the Giants have had more than a few controversies since their victory. Not to mention a few contract holdouts. And one of their best players retired. And training camp won't open for another month.

Plus all the off-season banquets are not conducive to getting in shape to defend their title. I remember back in '86 after the Giants won their first super bowl, I think about ten guys on that team wrote books. Off-season banquets, book signings, and, generally, everybody and their brother telling you how great you are can definitely put someone in the wrong frame of mind. Not only the fans, but the New York media will be all over them like a cheap suit the first time somebody makes a crucial mistake that costs them a game.
