Any one on here use a juicer? If so, what model do you have? Any info on juicers would be appreciated.
Merry Christmas!!!

I have one, it's one of the Jack LaLanne models ( though not the newer models being advertised on tv.) I haven't used it in a while, but I have enjoyed
it in the past. I would think that they're all basically the same. If you like fruit/vegetable juice then it would be a good investment. You must also have
the patience to cut up the fruit and veggies and then clean up afterward. Even when I was using the juicer, I would only make small servings. I certainly
didn't use it three times per day like Jack does. Usually, a nice carrot/apple/celery drink or a refreshing watermelon juice would provide a nice
"pick me up" in the afternoon. There are so many claims about fresh juicing that it's kind of hard to differentiate between fact and fiction, but
I think it does provide another way to obtain fresh fruits and veggies. Like anything else, moderation would be the best way to approach it.

I started out with a JL juicer but ended up sending it back. I thought the juice spout was too low preventing me from getting a decent sized glass under it. I
also didn't like the waste collection of the JL, the juicer I have now allows me to put a plastic grocery bag in the bucket so I can just pull it out and
throw the whole works away. The JL juicer has a bigger feed chute but you still have to cut everything up so it's a wash. I now have a Juiceman which has
been a good juicer.

I think that they're pretty much all the same. Just a different name on the label.

I weighed the options and bought a Vita-Mix. This is a like a "Home Improvement" blender. I read their lit before buying and decided it made sense.
The pulp contains nutrients (vitamins, phytochemicals) that get thrown away with a juicer and of course, the fiber. Being an old guy (or getting there), I need
my fiber - actually everyone does. My 2 lincolns.
