I've used it on elbow tendinitis, and a thumb joint injury from a heavy 2 hand Pinch. Also my wife had really good success with using accupuncture to deal with morning sickness. 2 sessions and her nausea was gone for good. I found that it helped but did not completely clear up my issues. Rest and other recuperative techniques did though.

Its about the only thing I haven't tried to fix my lower back woes. I have a hard time buying into the theories of it. Some swear by it tho.

I've havent tried it with my sciatica as I can usually keep it under control with stretching, ice and advil. Have found a few nice stretches and exercises that seem to help keep it from flaring up.

Lets see, I do a stretch lying on my back one knee up other leg resting the ankle on opposite knee. I hit that from a couple different angles to stretch the glute and piriformis. Another favorite is a modified Kettlebell windmill. Kind of like a 2 hands anyhow where you have one item locked above head and reach down to pick up other item. That position then you push your butt out some and it really stretches the Piriformis muscle and releases sciatic tension for me. There is also a group of exercises I do with the Jump Stretch bands. I got a set they were selling called the back traction set. Came with a dvd of the exercises. Hard to explain but they seem to loosen every thing up down in my low back area when it is starting to tighten up. I also have an inversion table but use it alot less since I got the bands and learned the KB windmill exercise. For icing I use a very large torso pack that goes all the way around you with an Icing area of prolly 18"x12" from EliteFTS. Down right wonderful. Theres an transversus I believe + ab exercise I picked up in physical therapy years ago that is kinda fun too. kind of like a vacuum lying on your back 1 knee up while the other leg does a very small (like 2") range of motion bent knee leg lift. It cooks your core but really picky about positioning whether it will work or not. Otherwise for ab work I often do braced bending or weighted incline situp ISO's. If I think of anything else I'll post it in here.
Thanks, Aaron |

Thought of a couple more. Foam rolling (yes it does help me) My roller is pretty hard to support my weight though. Also myofacial release stuff laying on a golfball and working on the trigger points to loosen up. Have a great Myofacial release Massage therapist here as well.
