You're totally right it's not what is recommend but it works for my stomach. I do spread food out during that 8 hour period, but yes it should be more evenly spread over the course of a whole day.
I'm not doing particularly as a way of loosing weight, I've just cut out my junk vices for that purpose (pies/crisps mainly). I'd say at the moment building strength/muscle is on par with losing weight, doing both I know is seen as trhe wrong thing to do, which is why I'm not on a diet as such, just cutting the junk.
I could try having some fruit first thing, but even smoothies, home made or shop bought don't agree with me on a morning. Polenta is about the only thing that I can eat first thing with no adverse effects. Just had it now and I'm burping away LOL!
Guess a late evening quality snack might be a better compromise? Any sugestions?
I don't go in for any supplement/shakes/powders. A pint of milk (or if I could stomach it the guiness mentioned some where else) after work out is about it.
