The Redskins right guard Randy Thomas is out for the season again - right torn triceps, a complete tear of the muscle (the newspaper said this, I think it
would be the tendon) from off the bone. 2 years ago he tore his left triceps (not sure if it was completely off the bone or not).
And all the NFL players are clean supposedly and yet my (limited) understanding is this kind of injury is not seen without steroids; with them the muscle becomes stronger than the tendons can take and tears are not uncommon.
Any thoughts?
