hi i was working this last week at an old friends house of mine and we got to talking about training,his name is mike baker,and he is around seventy.he had his own gym,and a massive sign up saying,"no drugs,drug users;he says it was the only gym to do this in the UK at the time.he was telling me how he used to train,and it was quite volume related compared to what most of us here would do today,having said that he only ever did one top set of anything.working down to quite low reps in most exercises.he had a very good physic and was very strong,he at one point in his twenties was eating twenty four raw eggs a day! god talk about dedication.i heard some stories of his meetings with some of the greats as Reg Park, and others,it made me realise how little dedication i really put into my training,anyway it was good to get an in-site into the lifestyle of one of the older drug free for life trainers.all the best .
