Hello all!
Easter is now over and the preps for ordination and final exams are in full swing here. With all that is going on, I sure do appreciate all those in the iron game who work long hours, provide for family, meet daily obligations, and hurdle the rough spots of life while still going strong on the iron, day in and day out. Dedication of that degree is what separates men (and women) from the fluff, for when the going gets tough, those who have that dedication, that fire in the gut, will not only be made strong by the trials in life but their determination to succeed, both on the iron and in life, will also surely be strengthened, pushing on to ever greater heights. I know I am preparing for something great in my life, and boy there were, and still are, big hurdles to be overcome. But I am in this FOR LIFE. I want to be clean, honest, and strong like Jack LaLanne, which is not a one time goal endeavor, but a lifelong endeavor. Dedication and faith, day in and day out, especially on down days, are what counts. And I know that one day, well into my priestly career, not only will I be strong to help out people in life, but also be a model to follow, just like Jack and those other olde time strongmen.
Blessings to you all!
