hi to everyone,,, i have had a few emails from John Woods site recently about Indian clubs,i wondered if anyone here had any experience with these at all, many thanks John

I have never used them, but I have seen video of them in use. If I tried to use them, I KNOW I would bash myself in the head.

can't see a major use for them in strength training. Maybe for warming up shoulders,keeping them flexible. I would think that if you use enough weight to make it hard to do you would pull your shoulders out of the sockets

I have a couple of pairs that I actually got from John Wood. I tend to go along with JGriff, they are useful for warming up and getting the blood flowing. There are many techniques ( more than I ever thought) but I just did a few simple swings as a general warm-up. And while I didn't bash myself in the head ( I came close) I DID hit the ceiling and knock some plaster off. Gotta be careful, and I am not exactly graceful to begin with.
