Would they be good with my extra activity in the summer months with rowing training once a week plus a race once a week starting in a months time (never mind any other activity such as kayaking) Thinking I could still train but not over train with the other stuff.
I'm feeling that my training either needs more rest in between, less exercises or both. Been full of cold which doesn't help, but upper body exercises have definitely slowed on progress, squat and dealift still going strong though. Don't feel the rowing is so much an issue as it seems to iron out any stiffness and it's pretty quickly over. Kayaking though is aerobic and leaves me feeling pretty wrung out (about an hour) as it's a lot of pushing action and my shoulders aren't too great, plus my wife is no great paddler and small so I do the lion's share of it.
If I did reduce it what would anyone recommend in terms of frequency and exercises?
Don't really want to miss out on exploring the islands in the summer but don't want to tip the balance with my background of CFS/ME.
Any comments appreciated
