Hello everyone!
I hope everyone has been blessed and doing well. I have not been on in a while as things have been a whirlwind, doing some parish visits, recovering from a nasty case of strep throat that I caught on a trip to a friend's wedding in Virginia (sorry I could not drop on in as I would have liked Bob, Providence Hospital and the Seminary had to take care of me while I was down), and finally moved my stuff to a residence/office in Philadelphia, where I have been officially assigned as Director of Vocations (My job is to seek out and foster vocations in interested folk who are considering ministry in the Ukrainian Catholic Church).
Keeping up with the exercise has NOT been easy, but now that I am settled down, unfortunately since I cannot get my own set of plates and a bar and power rack, I am in the search for a good gym where I can work hard (I'll still try to make my way down to WST when I can every so often!). I am not sure about you, but I know for me, a good place where I can call home, working hard on the iron is extremely important to me and helps me frame my mind. I only pray that I can find a good "dungeon," a la WST, here in the City of Brotherly Love (why they call it that, I am not sure, especially since I am like Daniel in the lion's den for I am a New York Giants and Yankees fan,
).
In any case, I do apologize if this post is not very spiritual, but stay tuned! Until then, blessings be upon you all!
Father Paul
P.S. - My heartfelt thanks goes out to the posters who remembered our fallen heroes on Memorial Day on the board here, may you be blessed, and know that we have been commemorating the memory of all those who gave their lives for our country!
