The funny thing is the millions of people who followed the whole circus and who tuned in. Especially here in New York, the reactions are funny. For the last two years the knicks have looked forward to the chance of signing him, basically planning on it being a done deal. During that time, the team sucked and was an embarrassment, but all you heard was that in July of 2010 lebron would come to the rescue. For the last two months the media here have endlessly- and shamelessly- kissed the guy's ass. It's all that's been on the news--lebron this and lebron that. How great a player, how great a human being, he'll not only save the knicks but inspire the entire city, lebron is our guy, blah, blah, blah. Now that he signed with another team, all you hear now is "he's a bum, we never wanted him anyway." You gotta hand it to the NY media--they say- and print- anything, regardless of whether it makes any sense or not.
Personally, I really don't care. I really don't have an interest in basketball, and have even less interest in lebron. But, wouldn't it be funny if he went do Miami and just flopped? Anyway, back to the world cup- it's almost over and that means no more vuvuzelas! |

Lebron is an egomaniac! I love how the Cavaliers owner ripped him apart. Hopefully Miami will not rule the league like everyone thinks. The Celtics brought in a bunch of hall of fame free agents a few years ago and it looks like they will come away with just one title when all is said and done. I'm not a big fan of "hoop" either. And,honestly I become less of a pro-sports fan by the minute!

I don't think there has been much sport to it for a long time. Same with College and a lot of high school athletics. They should be reported in the business section of the news because that's all it is.

Now that lebon has signed, and the world cup is over, I noticed that it's been a long time since we've heard from brett farve. Will he retire? Will he return? If he does return, who will he play for? This has become a tradition: wondering what he's going to do. I'd hate to go through the month of July without the daily dose of what brett's going to do. I'd thought that he'd have a least a couple of news conferences by now. Maybe he can start scrimmaging with a local high school team again. Please, brett, don't keep us waiting!

I thought that it was a done deal that Favre was coming back with the Vikings.
